This is the Privacy Statement of the private company with limited liability Plato Group B.V., trading under the name Clipper (hereinafter to be referred to as: "Clipper Interall", holder of the website:

Clipper Interall believes that that the protection of the privacy of visitors to the Clipper Interall websites is of key importance for the performance of its service activities. Clipper Interall attaches great value to the fact that the personal data provided to it by the user of the websites is treated, processed, managed and secured in a confidential, appropriate and careful manner. Clipper Interall hereby adheres to the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation.

Processing of personal data
You may give us information about you by filling in forms on the Clipper Interall websites or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. This includes information you provide when you request information (i.e. a catalogue), order products or services, register for the newsletter, ask a question, make a comment or suggestion. The information you give us may include your first name and surname, company name, address details, email address, mobile number or telephone number, date of birth. We may also collect information that you share with us through social media if you liked us, took part in an action, or contacted us.

In addition to the personal information you provide to Clipper Interall, we may also obtain specific personal data through the cookies we use. This includes information about the equipment you use, such as a unique device ID, the version of the operating system and settings of the device you use to visit Clipper Interall's website and social media, as well as information about the use of our website, such as the time you visit us and the topics you view. We also look at how well our newsletter is read by keeping track of 'opens and clicks'.

Clipper Interall as a processor
Clipper Interall delivers personalised products for customers, often directly to the end customer. As part of this service, we process (personal) data in the role of (sub)processor. Sending the products to the end customer, and thus processing this personal data, takes place on behalf of Clipper Interall customers.

Clipper Interall processes the personal data it has obtained for the purpose for which they were obtained, namely to prepare and/or execute an agreement, to process a request for information about its services and/or products, to process an order, to send a catalogue or quotation, to create an account for the "My" environment, or to respond to a question, comment or suggestion. In addition, Clipper Interall uses personal data to improve its services, to measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising we serve to you and others and to keep you informed of its activities, (new) products and services. In doing so, Clipper Interall endeavours to take into account your preferences and purchasing behaviour. For that matter, for visitors who have not previously concluded an agreement with Clipper Interall, it applies that our newsletter will only be received if the visitor subscribes to it. Clipper Interall will use this information to improve its services, to measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising we serve to you and others, and to deliver relevant advertising to you.

In some cases, Personal Data is validated by Clipper Interall or combined with information from external sources. In this way, we keep our database up to date. Clipper Interall only provides the personal data it has obtained to third parties if it considers this necessary for the execution and improvement of its services and the agreements. These parties are prohibited from using the personal data for their own purposes. Clipper Interall has taken all necessary technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data it has obtained. With regard to the personal data that Clipper Interall (possibly) obtains by means of Google (Universal) Analytics, Google processes these and may also use them for its own purposes, whereby Google has committed itself to confidentiality and security measures in the data processing agreement entered into. In addition, the last octet of the IP address is masked, data sharing is switched off and no other Google services are used in combination with Google Analytics cookies.

Disclosure of your information
Clipper Interall may share your personal information with any member of its group, which means its subsidiaries, its ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries. Clipper Interall will only provide the data it has obtained to third parties if this is necessary for the execution and improvement of its services and agreements. These parties are prohibited from using the personal data for their own purposes. 

We may disclose your personal information to other third parties

1)  In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;

2)  If Clipper Interall or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets; or

3)  If Clipper Interall is under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our General Terms and Conditions and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Clipper Interall, its customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

User rights
Clipper Interall endeavours to take your preferences into account. Any visitor who has not previously entered into a contract with Clipper Interall will not receive our newsletter until the visitor registers for it personally. If you wish to oppose the processing of your personal data, or if you wish to access, inspect, block, supplement, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, you may contact Clipper Interall for this purpose. At your request, the personal data will be deleted. The aforementioned rights to object, inspection, blocking, supplement, correction, transferability or deletion may be exercised either online (via privacy@platogroup.eu) or at the physical address of Clipper Interall, and applications in this respect will be processed by Clipper Interall without delay.

Retention period
Your personal data will not be stored any longer than necessary, in a form which permits identification, to achieve the aforesaid purposes, unless a legal retention obligation applies.

Transfer of data
Your personal data may be sent outside the European Economic Area, but only where adequate protections are in place.

Security
Clipper Interall endeavours to take suitable, technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss or any form of illegal use or illegal processing. Personal data is secured via a firewall between the internet and the websites of Clipper Interall and a firewall on its server.

Although these websites have been chosen with care, Clipper Interall will not bear any responsibility for the way your personal data is handled by these organisations. For that reason, we explicitly recommend that you consult the privacy statement of these websites.
